(NASDAQ: TTWO) and a global leader in interactive entertainment, today announced that its Match-3 mobile game, Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, is launching a new update to the Magical Creatures feature that redefines the popular Creature mechanics for an even more engaging experience. The new feature update incorporates player feedback to make the unlockable Magical Creatures more helpful in completing Puzzles. Most importantly, Creatures now provide additional Rewards and brand-new tiered benefits the more you play.

The Magical Creatures feature, unlocked after Puzzle 24, provides an improved way to collect Creatures through the new Creature Points that come from Star, Crystal, and Gold Chests. By winning Puzzles, players earn Stars that open Star Chests containing Common and Rare Creatures. After beating a new Puzzle on the first attempt, players of Level 90 and above earn Creature Crystals that unlock Crystal Chests with highly coveted Rare and Epic Creatures. Rare and Epic Creatures can also be unlocked from Gold Chests using Gold Coins that can be earned in the game. Once Magical Creatures are obtained, players can now level up their Creatures for greater powers, getting more help to win Puzzles with each Win Streak Power-up, Epic Boost, or Blast Radius board clear.

In Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, players enter a Match-3 adventure brimming with the spells, humour, colour, and characters of the Harry Potter series. Featuring the soundtrack and voiceover recordings from the original Harry Potter films, fans follow an authentic, mobile retelling of Harry’s journey through the wizarding world. Earning spells and special boosts as they advance, players solve Match-3 Puzzles populated with hopping Chocolate Frogs, fluttering Winged Keys, battling Wizard’s Chess pieces and other unexpected obstacles and objects. In the spirit of camaraderie and friendly competition at Hogwarts, players can join or form Clubs with other fans to socialise, collaborate on Puzzle strategies, share lives, and vie for Prizes in exclusive Club Events.
