Rollic Completes Acquisitions of ByteTyper, Creasaur Entertainment and Zerosum Game Studios
Rollic announced that it has recently closed the acquisitions of mobile game studios ByteTyper, Creasaur Entertainment and ZeroSum. All three studios have previously published games with Rollic and will continue to develop original mobile titles in-house under the Rollic umbrella.
The three Turkey-based studios are responsible for a run of hyper-casual hits including:
- Racing Online, Firefighter Hero and Rollic’s Touchdrawn from ByteTyper
- Money Maker 3D and Hit Guys from Creasaur Entertainment
- Barista Life, Long Nails 3D and Off-Road Race from Zerosum
“These studios create visually captivating, mind-teasing titles and we are excited to bring their creativity and technical skills into the Rollic family,” said Rollic Co-Founder Burak Vardal. “These acquisitions further our strategy of expanding our in-house network of innovative developers to support live services with ongoing creative updates, while also adding to our portfolio of inventive games.”
Recently celebrating its one-year anniversary of joining Zynga, Rollic has surpassed 1 billion total downloads worldwide with three of its titles surpassing 100 million downloads each and 16 of its titles reaching the #1 or #2 top free downloaded game positions in the U.S. App Store to date. These incredible milestones further establish Rollic as one of the largest hyper-casual publishers in the world and demonstrate the company’s unique ability to leverage data insights across its network of games to repeatedly design and publish hit new titles.
